Sensational Seniors & Valiant Veterans

Do you have a senior loved one or veteran who inspires you?

We want to hear more of YOUR stories and see more of YOUR pictures!

Whether it’s a personal story from one of our local veterans, a family member, or a special senior who is volunteering, traveling, creating, advocating, working or even still raising a family or something else altogether.

Assisted Living Locators wants to share your stories and highlight how older adults are setting an example for the next generation, but more importantly are enjoying their lives.

Inspiring the Next Generation!

Laura Kinglsey, President of We Elderly Care, Inc. wrote to us about the remarkable Janet McCarthy! Janet, at 82 years of age, continues to work as a Supervisory / QA nurse and Sitter. Laura says, "Janet is an amazing woman with a wealth of life experience that she uses every day." We want to recognize Janet's unfaltering determination and generous heart in her devotion for helping others.
You truly inspire us all!

Thank you, Janet and Laura, for all of your hard work!

Inspiring the Next Generation!

Our submission story winner this month is Jeanie Kushall. Jeanie grew up a talented left-handed softball player in Alabama. Two generations later, her grandson Tyler would inherit her skills and passion for the sport. One day during high school practice, Tyler’s coach asked him where he got his athletic abilities from. Tyler, although hesitant that the other boys would hear his reply, whispered, “From my grandma!” From a very young age, Tyler recognized who inspired him most. Tyler would later be drafted by the Atlanta Braves, and is now a scout for the San Diego Padres, making Jeanie the proudest grandma.
